Radio Tower climber and Wireless Transmitter Installer

Required:
• Related experience in wireless communications, including tower installation and site construction
• Experience hanging antennas and mounts
• Willingness to learn and no fear of heights

Required:
• Ability to install, repair and troubleshoot wireless communication, tower installation, and site construction
• Certification to operate heavy equipment as needed as directed
• Knowledge of antennas, coax, connectors, grounding, and lightning protection
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and commonly used practices and procedures within the construction field
• Basic computer skills

Desired:
• Certification in tower safety/climbing/fall protection

Other:
• Must be a Canadian citizen
• Willing and able to travel up to 90% throughout the Grey & Bruce Counties
• Must have a valid driver’s license and responsible driving history
• Highly customer focused/oriented
• Possess a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to interface professionally with customers, vendors and contractors
• Willing and able to work extended schedules to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
• Comfortable performing under pressure
• Problem solver, self motivated, and highly dedicated
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be familiar with and able to handle various power tools.

Physical Requirements:
• Capable of heavy lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds
• Desire and ability to climb telecommunication towers up to 200 feet
• Repelling skills desired
